Program Outline
CSIC (Canadian Society of Immigration Consultants) is an autonomous, non-profit organization that operates independently from the Federal Government of Canada and regulates the activities of member immigration consultants who charge for their services. The mandate of CSIC is to protect consumers of immigration consulting services and to ensure that its members are competent and adhere to the rules of professional conduct. To ensure the competent, professional conduct of its members, the Society has created a rigorous code of ethics that all members must adhere to.
People who wish to immigrate to Quebec are sometimes overwhelmed by the complex and unwieldy process that they must go through. Its purpose is
to provide its students with the knowledge and skills required to obtain CSIC membership and be properly prepared for the challenging career of providing professional immigration services.
Holders of the Immigration Consultant Attestation who pass the CSIC language test and meet the CSIC membership requirements are eligible to take the entrance exam for membership in the CSIC.
