ilasallecampus, LaSalle College’s online training portal, offers you a complete online training program in Multimedia Techniques.

This 600-hour program – spread over 12 months – was developed by a multidisciplinary team of teaching specialists, computer graphics designers and multimedia programmers in co-operation with other experts in the field.

This training program represents:

• 20 hours of coursework (self-paced learning, virtual evening
classes) and individual work per week.

This program, which requires basic knowledge of computer science as well as an aptitude for graphic arts, will allow you to produce many kinds of interactive creations and multimedia applications.

Throughout your training, you will be required to:


•research and study the feasibility of a project
• design multimedia computer graphics
• use different platforms (Macintosh OS and Windows PC) as well as various pieces of analog and digital audiovisual equipment to integrate image and sound


By the end of the program, you will how to:

• Create multimedia projects
• Develop interactive scripts
• Integrate the various parts of a project
• Program, test and evaluate a prototype
• Understand strategies for marketing products
• Plan and assess production costs
